For more than a decade, he has created (and guided) transformational business strategies in the areas of service delivery model design, offering evolution, digital transformation, customer experience and marketing.

He also works with large corporations to build the innovation platforms that reframe and solve today’s problems, prepare for tomorrow’s opportunities, and monitor the exogenous trends that catalyze change.

As the Vice President of Strategic Intelligence at U.S. Xpress, Charles’s work clarified big decisions (and inspired new ways of thinking) around enterprise-wide digital transformation and line-of-business evolution at a $2 billion, publicly-traded, freight carrier.

As the Founder and Principal of Actuate, a growth exploration and evolution consultancy, Charles has advised an array of clients across industries and markets, from CPG companies and luxury automobile manufacturers to utility companies and DC-based trade associations, on innovation and transformation initiatives; all while providing strategic guidance to new ventures.
